GFA will be advising the local advisors on the Cayman Islands Government’s goal to create a “comprehensive Trade Development Framework” and identify opportunities to broaden Cayman’s network of reliable trading partners, while maintaining the security and continuity of critical imports. It will be led by Claudius Preville, an internationally recognised trade economist with over 25 years of experience in trade policy design, economic modelling, and international trade negotiations, particularly within Small Island Developing States. “The resulting Framework should provide practical, measurable recommendations to strengthen trade relationships, improve supply chain efficiency, identify new opportunities, support local businesses, and help address the cost of importing essential goods.
