The Assam Government has announced that reconstruction of damaged roads across the state will be completed before Durga Puja. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma made the statement after the Cabinet meeting held on August 11, emphasizing the urgency of restoring connectivity following widespread damage caused by floods and heavy rainfall. According to the Chief Minister, all damaged roads in Guwahati will be reconstructed during September, ensuring smoother travel ahead of the festive season.
