It's a well-known fact that the royal couple loves a spot of skiing – in fact, their relationship was first revealed to the world during a much-publicised getaway to the Swiss resort of Klosters in 2004. While Klosters remains Prince Charles’s ski spot of choice (he’s such a regular there he even has two chair lifts named after him), William and Kate prefer the charms of the French Alps, in particular the luxe resort of Courchevel. It was here that the Duke and Duchess took Prince George and Princess Charlotte for their first holiday as a family of four in March 2016, with images released of them all beaming in the pristine powder (a spokesperson revealed the holiday marked the first time either of the children had played in the snow).
