I have tried to keep this discussion from 1970 onwards so the obvious choices such as Bradman and Sobers gets eliminated. Imran Khan is not only a top tier fast bowler in Test cricket but with an average of 38 with bat, he is also a genuine all rounder and did well vs the best side of his era, Windies. Imran Khan edges out as the greatest Test cricketer in my opinion because of his exceptional all-round ability, leadership, and long-term impact on cricket.
