ST. PAUL — Early and unofficial vote totals show Scott Jensen and Zack Filipovich will appear on Minnesotans’ November ballot for state auditor after they each won their party’s primary election on Tuesday, Aug. 11. The office performs audits of cities' and counties’ financial records by reviewing documents, data, reports and complaints that are reported to the office. In addition, the state auditor serves on the State Executive Council, the State Board of Investment, the Land Exchange Board and the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, among other duties.
