Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party primary voters in Minnesota’s Congressional District 7 chose Erik Osberg to advance to the general election and challenge incumbent Republican Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach. The figures posted as of 1:57 p.m. Wednesday show Osberg received 65.7% of the DFL vote to 34.3% for Carlson with an unofficial tally at that time of 27,758 votes for Osberg to 14,481 for Carlson. Carlson has won two primary contests in the Independence Party but has never won any of the DFL primaries he has entered.
