The New York Film Festival meant a lot to me when I was a kid, when I would look at those full page things in the New York Times and when the announcements were made about the selections. It was amazing because we were just, you know, on a flight from L.A. to New York and we were seated next to each other and we knew each other because I had interviewed him a couple of times when I was at the New York Film Festival, and we crossed paths with each other hear and there outside. But I think that in terms of making something and making it in New York, yes, it has a very, very special meaning, you know, has a special meaning for poetry to come out of New York, for cinema to come out of New York, because it's a city that's very dynamic, that's always changing.
