Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis joined the “Little Lion Man” outfit onstage to perform the Apple TV series’ theme song, which was co-written and performed by Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford. Mumford & Sons also have a song called “Believe” that, despite that word’s prevalence in the show, has nothing to do with Ted Lasso, having been released five years before the series’ premiere in 2020. Mumford & Sons are currently touring the U.S. in support of their new album, Prizefighter, which continues with two more shows at MSG taking place Wednesday and Thursday.
