Link-Belt Cranes TCC-2500 telecrawler is working in Puerto Rico, completing foundation work as part of a $1.6 billion project. Awarded to Ferrovial Construcción, based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Caribbean District (USACE), the contract covers channel improvements along the Río Piedras river. The long telescopic boom adapts to almost all of the project's lifting operations: from lifting rebar cages to unloading and loading heavy materials and equipment, installing a temporary steel bridge, among others."
