Superman and Mad Max: Fury Road star Nicholas Hoult has officially been cast as the flamboyant Professor Gilderoy Lockhart in the highly anticipated second season of HBO’s Harry Potter television series. The first season, which adapts Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, is set to debut on December 25 on HBO and HBO Max. While Hoult is currently busy shooting the Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, in Atlanta, he will soon trade his superhero scripts for spell books when filming for the second season kicks off later this year.
