Reports indicated during the offseason that he requested a trade, and his recent comments about whether teams are watching him in training camp and if film could be used as potential trade bait don't really give anybody much confidence that he actually wants to stay in New England. If the Patriots have a player on their roster who doesn't want to be on the team, they should move on from him. It doesn't feel like a relationship that can't be rebuilt, so unless the Patriots get absolutely blown away with a potential offer, it doesn't feel like he should be traded in the near future.
