He graduated from Delmar High School and joined the National Guard where he was a Combat Engineer with the 49th Armored Division. Survivors include two sons, Jory Preston and wife Maria and Toby Preston and wife Crystal, four step-children, Stacy Eatherly, Chad Graham and wife Ingrid, Dale Williams and wife Laurie, and Tim Parks and wife Daria, grandchildren, Lacie Preston, Brandon Brewer and wife Erin, Elizabeth Preston, Kyle Eatherly and wife Jennifer, Paulina Patino, Haley Williams, Alexis Elliott and husband Allen, Brittany McNeal, Megan Brown and husband Micah, and Alyssa Beck and husband Braxton, 13 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Brenda Miller and husband Joe and Gayla Jeffery and husband Kelly along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
