Patria and KNDS Deutschland Maintenance (KNDS) have formalised a framework agreement to assemble and integrate Patria 6×6 armoured personnel carriers in Germany. The agreement forms part of a broader initiative under the Common Armoured Vehicles System (CAVS) programme, aimed at expanding local production capabilities and supporting Germany’s defence procurement strategy. According to Patria, the CAVS initiative aims to facilitate timely and cost-effective procurement of modern armoured vehicles among participating nations, leveraging joint procurement and development for greater efficiency.
