The 44-year-old Fraser Rise driver was charged with evading police, dangerous driving when pursued by police, conduct endangering persons, driving in a dangerous manner, failing to stop at a scene of a collision, exceeding the speed limit, disobeying a red light, and outstanding whereabouts. The riders allegedly evaded police after an intercept was attempted, where police continued to track them speeding and travelling through numerous red lights throughout the western suburbs. Police also recovered a stolen BMW after it was allegedly stolen from a house party in the area and allegedly evaded police in Melton just before midnight on 6 August.
