Scottish Borders Council officers are now assessing six potential tenants aiming to move into the new unit at the Tweedbank, members of the council’s Executive Committee were told. It is stimulating business growth and associated job creation, enhancing the area’s inward investment offer, particularly to high-value sectors, and supporting existing businesses to improve their competitiveness and grow. John Curry, SBC’s director of Infrastructure and Procurement, said: “The building is fully complete and we are currently marketing the unit and I think we have six active inquiries for that space, which is more interest than the space available, so we are going through that process with DM Hall to identify potential tenants.
