U.S. Air Force veteran Luis Murillo and his family have a new home and a new chapter in their lives thanks to the community-based “Homes for Heroes” program. The Housing Finance Authority of Marion County, or HFAMC, a state-authorized agency established to facilitate affordable housing, organized the “Homes for Heroes” program and selected the qualified veteran.
