At the recent council meeting, I spoke about a passion project of mine, the revitalisation of Williamstown’s small business environment and the return of the Williamstown Festival. While I recognise the challenges involved in holding events like this, I think it’s an idea worth exploring to strengthen community connections, celebrate Williamstown’s unique identity, and support local businesses. I think council, community groups and local businesses can collaborate and look at ways we can make more special memories in Williamstown and Hobsons Bay.
