Is the Church Subject to the Wrath of God?

If the Great Tribulation is characterized by Satan’s wrath against God’s people, where does Revelation explicitly identify the wrath of God? Christians can be present during the Great Tribulation (since Jesus taught that they would) without being appointed to God’s wrath, because the persecution of the Great Tribulation comes from Satan and his Antichrist system. Revelation instead explicitly describes Satan possessing “great wrath” and persecuting God’s people (Revelation 12:12-17) during the time of the Great Tribulation.
