"These homes are for Ashfield people on the housing register and as a council we are committed to building safe and sustainable homes across the district. It comes as Ashfield District Council has full planning permission to build 20 new homes on the site of the former Kirklands Residential Care Home, in Kirkby. The new homes are part of the council’s pledge in 2023 to build more than 200 new homes within four years.
