August 12, 2026 Mysuru: Strongly opposing tomorrow’s ‘Karnataka Bandh’ call given by Kannada Chaluvali leader Vatal Nagaraj and a few other Kannada organisations over Cauvery row, former MLC A.H. Vishwanath has appealed the people and all commercial establishments, educational institutions and the like, not to extend support in any form to the bandh. Addressing a press meet at Jaladarshini Guest House here this morning, Vishwanath, who is also a former Minister, termed the bandh call as ‘anti-people,’ as it is against the larger interests of Karnataka.
