​A petition has been raised by a Retford County Councillor regarding ongoing issues with waste and recycling in Bassetlaw. In a social media post, Cllr Introna says he has raised the issue directly for many months, with executive directors and officers at Nottinghamshire County Council, with the new Reform administration, and at full Council itself. One of the main issues, he adds, is that Retford is growing and contributing more to the County Council coffers, so needs a better system now.
