On Wednesday morning, August 12, 2026, at approximately 12:41 a.m., Officers with the Paris Police Department were patrolling on Lamar Avenue when they observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 1900 block of Lamar Avenue. During the traffic stop, officers made contact with the driver and determined he had been consuming alcohol. Officers made 22 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 69 calls for service during this reporting period.
