They arrived at their uncle's farmhouse and left at around 4am in the morning on the first day on a quad heading out toward his uncle's deer blind. The first morning they saw a herd of deer in the distance, but they were waiting for a 12-point buck they had heard was in the area, so they didn't take any shots. After the treatment was complete, their uncle took them back to where the blind had been and discovered one of the rifles that they had left when they fled.
