According to a press release shared with WVOW News, 31-year-old Hakeem Chavez Norman and 41-year-old Wilfredo Romos Alamo, both of Logan, were arrested last week and charged with attempted murder and malicious wounding following an assault along Stratton Street. According to City of Logan Deputy Chief of Police Bo Frye, on Sunday, August 2, Norman and Alamo allegedly assaulted 44-year-old Christopher Boren, also of Logan, inflicting what are described as life-threatening injuries. According to the complaint, Norman claimed that he and Alamo had walked down Stratton Street to the driveway in front of the victim's residence where Norman allegedly grabbed Boren, slammed him to the ground and beat him.
