Dr Muhammad Najim, lead GP at Willesden Green Surgery, said: "Being shortlisted for an HSJ Award from more than 1,300 entries is an incredible honour for our whole team, and to receive national recognition two years running is something we never imagined when my father opened the doors in 1997. Willesden Green Surgery scored 90 per cent for overall patient experience in the 2026 GP Patient Survey, published by NHS England in July, significantly above the England average of 76.7 per cent. Willesden Green Surgery now faces premises challenges, as its Anson Road site offers the least space per patient of any conventional GP practice in north west London.
