(Tyler, Texas) A second Academy Sports + Outdoors location is expected to open in Tyler in March 2027. Shopping for sports and outdoor activities is about to become more convenient for west Tyler residents with another Academy Sports + Outdoors location coming to town. This second Tyler location will join the original Tyler store on South Broadway, along with Academy locations serving shoppers in Palestine, Longview, Lufkin and Texarkana.
