According to the Brookfield Lions Club, a local blood drive is coming up later this month, giving people in the community an easy opportunity to help save lives with a relatively small investment of their time. The Brookfield Lions Club is teaming up with the American Red Cross for a blood drive on Wednesday, August 26, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Brookfield Lions and the American Red Cross are hoping the community will come out in strong numbers and help keep the local blood supply stocked.
