Kyle Girvan gave the home side the lead after 18 minutes, but Scott Shepherd netted an equaliser for Forfar six minutes before half time. Fraser MacLeod pulled a goal back for Brechin shortly before half time, and a penalty by Dale Hilson in the 67th minute then levelled the score. Kyle Somers put Berwick back in front in the 81st minute, but three minutes later it was all square again, as MacLeod netted his second goal of the game.
