At Itasca State Park, you can smell autumn coming in the warm August breeze well before fall colors appear. Main Park Drive and Wilderness Drive create a continuous, 15-mile loop through the park. Itasca State Park is also the northern terminus of the 88-mile Lake Country Scenic Byway. Complete the 3.9-mile Hiking Club Trail and you’ll experience the autumn sights, sounds and smells of Itasca State Park up close. In addition to concerts, look for guided fall color hikes or campfire programs led by Itasca Naturalists.
