On any streaming service, Invasion Body Camera, the new collaborative EP from experimental rap titans Fatboi Sharif and ELUCID, shows up as a single 12-minute track, even though it's actually six individual songs. True New Jersey weirdo Fatboi Sharif, a onetime Stereogum Artist To Watch, is a prolific force these days; he teamed up with Child Actor for the collaborative album Crayola Circles earlier this year. But ELUCID also produces dense, skronky tracks of his own, and that's the role that he plays on Invasion Body Camera. Other than a guest appearance from avant-rap pioneer and Antipop Consortium member Beans, Fatboi Sharif's voice is the only one that appears on Invasion Body Camera, while ELUCID produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered every song.
