As the Region marks International Youth Day 2026 under the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” the Reproductive Education and Adolescent Health Community (REACH) Project is transforming these shared aspirations into meaningful action. Working closely with Ministries of Health in its Member States – Dominica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines – and partners – Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States and Caribbean Technical Assistance and Education Centre for Health – the REACH Project is strengthening adolescent health across the Caribbean. The REACH Project recently launched a series of webinars to address key topics including reproductive health, mental health, nutrition, healthy relationships, and effective parent-teen communication. Participants received training on sexual and reproductive health, anti-stigma approaches, adolescent strengths, and understanding the developing teenage brain. This initiative, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Nutrition, provided adolescents’ access to essential hygiene supplies.
