NAB and National Forensics Agency Form Strategic Alliance Through MoU

Islamabad: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the National Forensics Agency have formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at incorporating advanced forensic science into NAB's investigative processes.
This agreement was signed by DG Operations NAB Amjad Majeed Aulakh and DG National Forensics Agency Jawad Ahmad Dogar at a ceremony held at NAB Headquarters, attended by Chairman NAB Lt Gen (Retd) Nazir Ahmed and other officials.
According to Radio Pakistan, the MoU will enable NAB to refer investigative materials to the National Forensics Agency for crime-scene investigations and scientific analysis.
The agreement also stipulates that forensic experts from the National Forensics Agency will provide expert testimony in Accountability Courts and other judicial forums as needed, reinforcing evidence-driven prosecutions.
This strategic alliance is expected to modernize the national accountability framework, enhancing procedural rigor, scientific integrity, and transparency in legal proceedings.
