Betty’s Burgers & Ice Cream Bar opened its doors Tuesday, bringing double-stacked smashburgers, creative toppings and some seriously over-the-top desserts to 1960 Bayberry Ave.“We are very excited to be a part of this community,” co-owner John Breeze told Greater Long Island. Inside and out at the new Betty’s Burgers & Ice Cream Bar, which opened Tuesday in Merrick. Betty’s features eight giant specialty sundaes, including the Candy Craze, made with vanilla ice cream, marshmallow sauce, strawberry drizzle, Fruity Pebbles, M&M’s, gummy bears and whipped cream. The Cookies and Dreams combines cookies-and-cream ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, caramel drizzle, chocolate chips and crumbled Oreos.
