The latest survey from The Economist/YouGov survey, published on Monday, found 33 percent of respondents said they approved of how Trump has handled his job as president. Support for the president was split largely along partisan lines, with 79 percent of GOP respondents and only 4 percent of Democratic respondents approving of Trump’s job performance, according to the poll. The Economist’s polling tracker, which uses data from YouGov surveys, reported in June that Trump had become the most unpopular president ever in the poll with a net approval rating of negative 25 percentage points. YouGov’s most recent survey results follow a broader decline in the president’s job approval ratings.
