CAL’s Austin route ribbon-cutting event on Grand Cayman in May 2026(CNS): Cayman Airways Limited is expanding its nonstop service between Grand Cayman and Austin, Texas, following the strong performance of the route’s inaugural summer season, which ends on 16 August. CAL said the new route exceeded expectations, with strong demand from both visitors and Cayman residents. In light of this success, CAL plans to operate the Austin service from 20 December until the end of August next year, including the winter travel season, spring break and other popular travel periods. During the upcoming winter season, flights from Austin will depart at 11:45am (12:45pm during Daylight Saving Time) and arrive in Grand Cayman at 3:45pm. Flights from Grand Cayman will depart at 8:15am and arrive in Austin at 10:15am (11:15am during Daylight Saving Time).
