SWEETWATER COUNTY — The new high school golf season is underway in Wyoming, and both Green River and Rock Springs are set to get their first tournament action this week. For Green River, the season begins Wednesday in Sheridan. The team’s closest tournament on its schedule will come Sept. 3-4, when the Wolves travel to Rock Springs for the Rock Springs tournament. Rock Springs will open its season Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Riverton tournament. For the Tigers, it begins Thursday in Riverton before the teams eventually meet again on Rock Springs’ home course in September.
