PLANT CITY, Fla. — Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews extinguished a heavy residential structure fire Wednesday morning at 2207 Allen Drive in Plant City. The first unit to arrive on scene encountered a single-story home with more than 50% of the structure fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters then deployed an aerial master stream to knock down the main body of the fire from a safe distance outside. The Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Fire Investigations Unit was dispatched to the scene to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
