Doha Design District (DDD), powered by Msheireb Properties, has announced the four winning projects of its Public Art Open Call initiative, following a selection process that combined independent jury assessment and public voting. The four winning teams will now move forward with the development and installation of their works across Msheireb Downtown Doha. According to Doha Design District, the final selection was determined through a two-stage evaluation process that combined expert assessment with community participation. Dana Kazic, Director of Doha Design District, said the initiative reflects the district’s commitment to supporting creative talent and encouraging public participation in shaping urban spaces. The winning installations will be developed and installed across Msheireb Downtown Doha as part of the district’s ongoing public art programme.
