ASHLAND, N.H. — Patricia Joyce Colwell, 83, passed on from this life Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, in the Merrimack County Nursing home after a period of declining health. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, Dec. 11, 1942, the daughter of Peter and Edith "Grace" Miner. Over the course of her life, she lived in several states across this beautiful country: Missouri, Tennessee, Florida, Maine and New Hampshire. Patricia loved her family and friends, of which there were many, and her church family both in New Madrid and the Lakes Region Church of Christ. Patricia is survived by her sons, Tracy (Angie) Colwell of Tallahassee, Florida, and Timothy Colwell of Port Orchard, Washington; four grandsons, Keenan (Maddie) of Tallahassee; Kalen (Leah) Colwell of Millerstown, Pennsylvania; Ethan Colwell of Oak Harbor, Washington; and Christopher Larson of Salem, Oregon; and two great-grandchildren, Silas and Hazel Colwell.
