He claims the Daily Mail discouraged him from hiring his own attorney and “pressured” him to sign a declaration containing language he did not agree with, including saying he “regretted” certain actions. The Daily Mail denied the accusations. “At no point did Daily Mail pressure James to sign a declaration he believed to be untrue,” the outlet said.
