Information about the upcoming Canon EOS R8 Mark II is coming in slowly. Canon EOS R8 Mark II SensorI think myself and a lot of people have assumed Canon would use the 32.5MP sensor that is found in the EOS R6 Mark III and Cinema EOS C50, but that doesn't look like it's going to be the case. The EOS R8 Mark II will use a full-frame CMOS 24MP sensor. There is no word whether or not it's a brand new sensor, or if Canon is going to roll with the 24.2MP sensor from EOS R6 Mark II or if it'll be something new. While we haven't had anyone say otherwise, we're still going with the EOS R8 Mark II going the “retro” route.
