The Morses Pond beach closes for the summer season at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16. That means that there will no longer be lifeguards or staff at the pond this year (people sometimes wonder why the beach closes for the season so early…many lifeguards and staff head back to school around this time of year). You can still use the beach and swim in the pond, but you do so at your own risk. The electronic entrance gate to Morses Pond at Turner Road will not be staffed.
