On Aug. 13, 14, our community will come together for two days of generosity, connection and hometown pride during the 20th annual Moose FM Health Radiothon. We will be on-air from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday on 93.5 Moose FM raising awareness and funds for the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation. According to officials, this year funds will support the purchase of much-needed emergency department equipment, patient monitors, digital imaging equipment and more. Along with accepting donations in the Haliburton studio, Health Services volunteers will be the Tim Horton’s, Dollo’s Foodland and Boshkung Brewery in Minden, and Todd’s Independent, Tim Horton’s and Foodland in Haliburton. Donations can be made in person to volunteers at the seven locations throughout the community, by calling 705-457-3897, or by visiting the Foundation’s website.
