This November, Earth's Mightiest Survivors assemble as writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Marco Checchetto reunite after their Eisner-nominated Daredevil run for a new Avengers series. Today, we have a first look at a lettered preview from Avengers #1, a new variant cover by Adi Granov, and a special Marvel Studios variant celebrating the release of Avengers: Doomsday. Revealing how it feels to take charge of Marvel's flagship superhero team, Zdarsky said, "It's obviously a massive honour getting to write the world's greatest superhero team! "Avengers is a book that should lead the Marvel Universe, where big things happen, and surprises keep hitting," he explained.
