Visitors to Stratford’s new KFC restaurant will be able to get a poem with their chicken on Thursday (13th August). The new branch, which opened on Monday at the Maybird Centre, is bringing free personalised sonnets to customers in a move which the firm said has been inspired by William Shakespeare. The new KFC at the Maybird Centre in Stratford opened this week. Bring us a story, a thought or a name,Or tell us who believeth in chicken all the same. The poet will be in the restaurant, in the former Pizza Hut unit, from 11am till 2pm.
