A new exhibit exploring the history, evolution, and future of forestry in Prince George and across Northern British Columbia is coming to the Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum.
The exhibit highlights how technological change, practical adaptation, public expectations, and stronger regulatoryframeworks have transformed forestry practices and shaped the region visitors see today.
Path to Sustainability reflects the Museum’s emerging role as a community heritage institution that connects collections to current conversations about sustainability, local economies, education, and regional identity.
The exhibit invites residents, visitors, forestry professionals, educators, members, volunteers, and media to explore the continuing story of one of British Columbia’s founding Industries.
Path to Sustainability demonstrates how understanding our pastcan help inform conversations about the future of our forests, communities, and region.”
