Anne Tunnicliffe died at Southern Down Nursing Home, Worcester Road, Chipping Norton, on September 21. An inquest into the 85-year-old's death was opened at Oxford Coroner's Court by area coroner Nicholas Graham on Thursday, September 25. The court heard that Ms Tunnicliffe suffered a fall at her care home, resulting in fractures.
