Punta Cana.- The Rainieri Cultural Center has launched La Cantera, a temporary exhibition space created to promote emerging artists and showcase new voices shaping the future of Dominican visual arts. Unlike the Center’s main temporary exhibition hall, which spans more than 400 square meters, La Cantera allows artists to focus primarily on creating and presenting their work. The initiative also seeks to encourage a new generation of art collectors and establish La Cantera as a space known for discovering artists who could eventually become part of the Dominican art scene. With La Cantera, the Rainieri Cultural Center aims to strengthen its support for Dominican talent while creating opportunities for interaction among artists, audiences, and collectors. The nonprofit institution, located in Punta Cana, promotes Dominican culture through exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural activities, with particular emphasis on the historical and cultural heritage of the country’s eastern region.
