Applicant Keira Wood, of TK Dental, applied to Fife Council for permission to make external changes to the premises at 2A, The Depot on Winterthur Lane to suit a new dental practice fit out. The plans show six surgery rooms are to be created as well as office space. A report from Fife Council planners said the premises are currently an empty retail unit. “The proposal would have an acceptable visual impact to the retail unit and would also not cause any significant adverse impacts on the local amenity,” they stated. “It is considered that the external alterations would be in keeping with other approved alterations to the building and would be appropriate in maintaining the setting of this redeveloped listed building and the surrounding development.”
