Joan Schall Orlovitz, a longtime Greenwich resident whose greatest joy was her family, died on August 9,2026, at the age of 94. Joan was born and raised in Tarrytown, New York, the only child of Florence and Louis Schall. While attending a Syracuse alumni gathering, Joan met Arnold Orlovitz. She was a lifetime member of Hadassah and an active member of Temple Sholom, serving on the boards of both the Sisterhood and the synagogue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 12, at 11:00am at Temple Sholom, 300 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich.
